Our Mission

Our mission is to make Missouri's medical cannabis process easier for Downtown St. Louis residents to understand while providing access to appropriate medical evaluation services.

Downtown has played a central role in St. Louis since the city's earliest development along the Mississippi River. Today, residential buildings share the neighborhood with offices, government facilities, hotels, transportation infrastructure, parks, restaurants, entertainment venues, and well-known landmarks.

We want patients living in this busy urban environment to have clear information about certification and registration without having to sort through confusing or unrelated material.

Who We Are

Our service is designed for people at different stages of Missouri's medical cannabis program, including first-time applicants, returning patients, caregivers, cultivation applicants, and families helping qualifying minors.

Downtown's residential population has grown while the neighborhood has continued to function as the city's business, civic, entertainment, and visitor center. Its combination of historic buildings, converted lofts, modern apartments, public spaces, and major destinations gives it a character that differs significantly from many other St. Louis neighborhoods.

Our information is written with that local setting in mind rather than treating Downtown as nothing more than another name added to a statewide cannabis page.

Our Commitment

Easy-to-Follow Information: We organize the certification and application process in a practical sequence so patients can understand what happens at every stage.

Respect for Patient Privacy: Medical and personal information should be treated carefully throughout the evaluation and certification process.

Missouri-Focused Guidance: Our information centers on the medical cannabis requirements that apply in Missouri rather than procedures used in other states.

Individualized Patient Support: A new applicant, renewing patient, caregiver, cultivation applicant, or parent assisting a minor may each need different information.

Clear Direction After the Appointment: Receiving medical certification is not the same as receiving a state card. The patient must still complete Missouri's registration process and obtain approval.

Joining Hands with the Community

Downtown contains some of St. Louis's most heavily used public spaces, including Citygarden, Kiener Plaza, Gateway Mall, Memorial Plaza, Washington Square Park, Aloe Plaza, and areas surrounding the Gateway Arch and Mississippi riverfront.

These destinations form an important part of daily life for residents, workers, and visitors throughout the neighborhood.

Medical cannabis education should therefore cover more than the steps required to obtain a patient card.

Patients should also understand Missouri's rules involving possession, purchasing, cultivation, public consumption, and impaired driving. Missouri does not permit public marijuana consumption, and medical patient registration does not allow a person to drive or operate a motor vehicle while under the influence of marijuana.

Our Vision

We want Downtown St. Louis residents to have medical cannabis information that is useful, locally relevant, and consistent with Missouri's regulated program.

Whether a patient is preparing for an initial evaluation, completing registration, considering cultivation, or returning for renewal, the process should be understandable from one stage to the next.

Our long-term aim is to reduce confusion while helping qualifying patients participate responsibly in Missouri's medical cannabis system.
