$20 Online Medical Marijuana Evaluations for Downtown Residents
Some medical cannabis providers may periodically advertise telemedicine evaluations starting at approximately $20.
This amount refers to the medical evaluation when promotional pricing is available and does not replace Missouri's separate patient identification card application fee.
During an online consultation, an eligible Missouri physician or nurse practitioner reviews relevant medical history, symptoms, medications, and other circumstances before determining whether cannabis certification is appropriate.
If the patient qualifies, the certification is submitted electronically. The patient must then complete the Missouri application within 30 days of the medical professional's signature date.
After state approval, the patient can access the digital medical marijuana identification card through the registry.
For Downtown residents living in apartments, lofts, or condominiums near Washington Avenue, Market Street, Broadway, Tucker Boulevard, or the riverfront, a virtual appointment may eliminate the need for an additional trip elsewhere in St. Louis.
Paying for an evaluation does not guarantee medical certification or state approval. The medical professional determines whether certification is appropriate, while Missouri makes the decision on whether to issue the patient identification card.
